Sibshops Family Event
On Sunday, April 26th, OHEL Bais Ezra’s Sibshops program hosted the annual gathering  for families whose children attend the Sibshops program.  Everyone enjoyed the afternoon at the safari-themed party, which took place at the OHEL Bais Ezra Dayhab building in Brooklyn. Â
There was a safari-themed photo area, face-painting, animal balloon decorating, prizes, and delicious treats generously sponsored by Pomegranate Supermarket. The attendees were then treated to a remarkable interactive drumming activity, under the direction of Musical IQ.  Every person in attendance got his/her very own West African Djembe drum and became magically engaged in the rhythms and beats led by the Musical IQ artists. Music is a universal language, and the drumming activity transcended age and ability and fascinated typical children and their special sibs alike. On their way out, parents shared their appreciation for the Sibshops program and the dose of fun that it brings to their children’s lives.
“Thanks again for another great Sibshop!” expressed one grateful mom, “The kids really enjoyed!” A first time parent said that they can’t wait for the next Sibshops event.
