OHEL Collaborates to Forms Partnerships in Managed Care
OHEL is proactive in developing new alliances as a response to wide-ranging NY State Medicaid Redesign plans.
OHEL is now a Board Member of the recently formed not-for-profit consortium Coordinated Behavioral Care (CBC) - a New York State Department of Health designated Health Home for high users of Medicaid who have complex medical, behavioral and long term care needs. Additionally OHEL has partnered with The Brooklyn Health Home as a provider of managed care services. OHEL founded the Alliance Care Network (ACN) a consortium of not-for- profit organizations established in response to OPWDD's plan to transition their services into a managed care system. OHEL and the other ACN member agencies have decades of experience, and are leaders in providing mental health treatment, rehabilitation and supportive housing.
Through ACN, OHEL has also become a founding board member in the newly formed Advanced Care Alliance (ACA).
